Dual-board
A thread can live on TODO (triage), Pipeline (sales), both, or neither. Kanban status is shared. Handle the mail as a task and pipeline the deal without duplicating the card.
How to

Open the panel
In detail, the Board section shows TODO / Pipeline membership.

Add to Pipeline
Check Pipeline (Pro). The card appears in the sales columns.

Keep TODO
Leave TODO checked if the thread is still a task to process.

Remove
Uncheck a board: the thread leaves that board; deal fields stay.
FAQ
Is status duplicated?
No. One shared status: Qualified on Pipeline is the same status if the card is also on TODO.
Does Free include dual-board?
Free has the TODO board. Pipeline (and dual-board) is Pro.
