Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

These terms govern access to and use of Colossales: the Chrome extension (Kanban CRM inside Gmail) and the colossales.com site (pricing, support, billing portal). By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to these terms. The privacy policy describes how data is processed; it complements — and does not replace — this document.

Publisher

Colossales is published by Sébastien MAIMON. Contact: form or Support. Publisher email: sebastien@maimon.fr.

What the service is

Colossales turns Gmail into a sales cockpit: Kanban cards, comments, Google Tasks reminders, and on Pro / Team a pipeline, companies, activity history and deal assist. The CRM source of truth is a file in your Google Drive (crm-data.json), not a database hosted by Colossales. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on colossales.com, not via Chrome Web Store IAP.

Account and access

The extension signs in with Google OAuth (chrome.identity). The Google email address is the license key (Free, Pro or Team). You must be entitled to use that Google account and, for Team, hold the Workspace rights needed (directory, Drive sharing).

You are responsible for the security of your Google account and the devices where the extension is installed. Colossales does not store your Google password.

Plans and billing

Free: no card required, with the limits described on Pricing (including how many recent threads are indexed).

Pro and Team: Stripe subscriptions (monthly or yearly). Public prices and founder pricing are on the Pricing page. When founder pricing applies, it is kept for as long as the subscription stays active without interruption; after cancellation, a new subscription moves to the public price then in force.

Team: billed per seat from the Workspace count (domain or group). One invoice for the owner. Card changes and cancellation go through the Stripe customer portal.

Except where required by law, amounts already paid for a current period are not refunded pro rata after cancellation.

Your data and content

You keep ownership of your emails, CRM Drive folder, tasks and comments. Uninstalling the extension does not delete the Drive folder. You may export (Sheets / CSV) where the product allows.

You warrant that you have the rights needed for content you process with Colossales (Gmail threads, team sharing, temporary read-only links).

Allowed and prohibited use

You may use Colossales for your own sales work or your organisation’s, subject to Google’s terms (Gmail, Drive, APIs) and applicable law.

You must not: circumvent licensing or seat counting; resell access without agreement; disrupt the service; access Colossales systems outside intended interfaces; use the extension in a way that breaks Google’s rules or third-party rights.

Third-party services

Colossales relies on Google (OAuth, Gmail, Drive, Tasks, Contacts, Directory, Gemini / AI Studio if you enable deal assist) and Stripe (payments). Those services have their own terms. Deal assist only sends an excerpt on click, with the API key you configure locally.

Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is”. We may change the extension, site and plans (features, limits, public prices) with reasonable notice on the site or in the extension. Temporary downtime (maintenance, Google / Stripe / Netlify outages) may occur without compensation, except where the law requires otherwise.

Liability

Colossales helps you organise your pipeline in Gmail; it is not legal, tax or business advice. To the extent permitted by French law, our liability is limited to proven direct damages and, for paying subscribers, to the amounts paid to Colossales in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for data loss caused by user error, OAuth revocation, or incidents at Google / Stripe.

Termination

You may uninstall the extension at any time and cancel a subscription via the Stripe portal. We may suspend or terminate access for serious breach of these terms, non-payment, or risk to service security. Ending access does not automatically delete your CRM Drive folder.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page controls. Continued use after publication means you accept the new terms, except where the law provides otherwise.
