Google sign-in

Colossales signs in with chrome.identity. You grant Gmail, Sheets, Tasks, Contacts and, for Team, the Workspace directory. Colossales never stores your password.

How to

    Start Sync

    On the board, click Sync. The Google popup lists the scopes.

    Pick the right account

    The Chrome / Gmail account must be the license holder (and an OAuth tester while the GCP app is in Testing).

    Accept scopes

    gmail.modify, spreadsheets, drive.file, tasks, contacts.readonly, userinfo.email — plus directory if you are a Team admin.

    Re-consent after an update

    A new scope (Tasks, Contacts, directory) requires reconnecting. Sign out, then Sync again.

FAQ

Access denied

While GCP consent is Testing, only allowlisted emails can authorize the app. Add the account on the OAuth consent screen.

Several Google accounts

Colossales uses the Chrome profile session. Open Gmail with the correct Chrome profile.
