The panel enriches the sender via Google People: name, organization, phone, photo. A link opens Google Contacts. Sales follow-up stays on the thread, not the Contacts app.
How to

Authorize Contacts
contacts.readonly and contacts.other.readonly. Re-consent if the extension just added them.

Open a thread
The Contact section matches People on the address.

Read the card
Title, org, phone show if they exist in Contacts / Other contacts.

Open Google Contacts
The button opens Contacts search for that identity.
FAQ
Why is it empty?
No People record, wrong Google account, or denied scope. Check Contacts for that account.
Does Colossales write Contacts?
Not in V1. Read-only.
